Mark Canin started his life long love affair with Photography at the age of 10 when his favourite Aunt gave him a camera for a birthday present. Searching for and capturing images, which started as a hobby, over the years became a strong passion; one that eventually made a meaningless, unfulfilled career in finance retreat into the background and fade away. In 2017, Mark bravely said goodbye to the finance world and began taking images full time, gladly allowing his pleasure to become his business.

Born, raised and living in Dublin's fair city, Mark enjoys taking photographs of this historical and wonderful capital city that peeks his interest, and indeed other amazing and enchanting images from all over Ireland. Mark also loves travelling abroad to find unique and quirky images to add to his collection.

Mark is not committed to any specific photographic genre. Whether it is an urban scene, a rural landscape, a live subject or an inanimate object, Mark concentrates on capturing the essence of the experience. Rather than focusing on a textbook formula, Mark believes each image dictates its own style.
